The Customer Journey

Analytics
& CRM

We put the tools in place... so we can show you the results you’re after.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free web analytics tool offered by Google to help you analyze your website traffic.

Even though “web analytics” sounds like a very small area of your digital presence, the implications of Google Analytics are in fact huge.

This is because, for most companies, your website serves as a hub for all of your digital traffic. If you are running any marketing activities such as search ads or social media ads, your users are most likely going to visit your website somewhere along their user journey.

We place google and analytics on all of our websites and also Google Tag Manager on request.

Google Tag Manager

Google tag manager allows you much more freedom in tracking specific triggers and events that you might want to track the user’s activity. This is also the industry standard if you are using any 3rd party companies to be able to add tracking and code on your site without them needing access to the backend or hosting of the site.

This is all a bit complex for the average joe to understand but is important that you are collecting data of your visitors in case you want to look back and see how your site is performing or finding trends in the time of the year or day, or track campaigns that brought in the custom you were after.

We can help you with this, are you currently tracking your customers?

Hubspot / CRM

Additionally to Analytics of website activity, we have partnered with HubSpot, They are a CRM system with benefits. CRM means Customer Relationship Management. We believe at Zubru that customers are the most important thing for us and keeping them happy is the life force that keeps our business running.

Whereas analytics lets us know about the evidence of a user on our site, Hubspot can give that user a name. Any web form filled in or email link clicked we can then track the IP address of that user. We can see how many times they have come back and what pages they visited for how long. This is a much easier platform for you to use also. On top of it being storage of all this user activity, it also offers a webchat that links with Facebook or Hubspot and offers a great email service similar to Mailchimp, where you can do great email campaigns and track opened and visits to your site.

I often Embarrass Jasmine with the fact that I could see that she opened my initial job interview email from myself more than 30x!!

Let find out what customers keep visiting you, but need that extra push?

Page Tracking (HotJar)

We have already covered Google Analytics and Hubspot that both offer a form of page tracking. Sometimes we want to see more than the time they were on the site and the device they were using. In some cases we can add Hotjar, this is a service that not only records the user and device but lets you see where they move their mouse, where they scroll down the page.

They even offer user video samples.

This has been a great tool that we have used on new startup companies, where the user experience and flow of the customers are new and fresh, and ever-evolving. We can use A-B Testing to see which design works best and attract the right type of customers.

Facebook Pixel

3rd party tracking is becoming more popular and there are countless tracking codes that you can use with google tag manager. As well as Facebook pixel there are even trackers for LinkedIn and Twitter, but what facebook excels at is data… Yes, they have had many lawsuits against them because of it.

Facebook also owns Instagram; and they know all the devices that you log into, they know all of the IP addresses that you might use, they not only know where you live but how you live.

People have become a bit savvier about what Facebook is recording now, their algorithms to keep users engaged are scarily good. What Facebook pixel can do is that person (only within Facebook) so they know who’s visited your site. With this information, we can target that person that’s visited your site with Paid Facebook advertising on both Facebook and Instagram.

Not only that but we can target people that haven’t visited your site, but utilising facebooks data on, sex, age, location, marriage, Interests, page likes, where they study, what they study, or how many kids they have.

We have done many campaigns, some successful, some not so much. We have found that it has been one of the best ROIs for companies targeting a B2C approach.

Customer Journey

So what we are ultimately doing is creating the optimal customer journey.

We plan your ideal customer and we work out the path that it takes for them to gain your attention and guide them to purchase, but also keep them coming back… What we plan to do and what happens can be two different things, so we use the data of all these analytical tools to see what happens. Maybe you don’t even know your ideal customer yet.
